The Concert chapter 2 part 3
Original story written by: Marit Worms
"They're still warm!" I happily took a bite. Freshly baked sandwiches are my favorite! In the afternoon the girls came in. Naomi sat on my bed and ran a hand through her hair. “What a hassle. We thought we were going to a fun concert."
"Yeah," Jasmine said. "Who would have thought it would end as a thriller? I mean, if you don't like someone or don't like something, okay, but bringing a gun and endangering everyone? Come on! What idiot would do such a thing?" Jasmine shook her head, her red hair dancing up and down on her shoulders. "What happened has happened, and I'm still alive ..." I shrugged one shoulder indifferently. "Oh, I talked to your teachers. First of all, they wish you well on your recovery. They gave me a little homework, but only when you are ready." Jasmine said with a small smile. My eyes widened. `How nice! Then I will not get behind! But not yet, I'm still too tired." The girls started to laugh. "You can be a nerd sometimes, Lynn, just take your rest." Naomi said with a grin and shook her head. "I still can't believe Yon gave you so much attention. Normally Hyun-jun would have done that, or Gun-Woo. "
"No dude, Moon would do that, or Shin, Jung, and certainly Seung. I mean, he's a real gentleman… "Jasmine said again.
"I don't know what they are called ... to be honest, I don't really care. I am happy for them that they are okay. But I did it to protect you." I looked at my homework. How nice that I will at least get to study a bit when I get back home. Oh and there is also extra math homework! The girls looked at me in shock. "What are you saying?" Naomi's voice cracked.
"At first I saw the man pointing the gun towards where you were standing. That's why I intervened. " The girls looked at me wide-eyed. "Lynn we had no idea!" Jasmine ran over to me, plopped down on the bed next to me, and hugged me gently. "Don't ever put yourself in such danger again, okay?" She began to sob. I laughed as the familiar smoke of sweet perfume passed by and put my arm comfortably on her back. "You are my best friends! I couldn't do nothing, now could I? "I said with a smile.
"That you did that." Hesitantly, Naomi approached, as if she didn't know what to do. I took her hand and held it tightly. "Promise me next time you'll wear a bulletproof vest." I looked at Naomi teasingly. The girls started to laugh and Jasmine sat down in the chair next to me. "But you do look nice in the newspaper, Have you seen it?" Naomi walked over to her bag on the table and pulled out a newspaper. She happily read the header aloud. "Heroic young lady saves k-pop stars at their own concert!" My eyes widened. You're not serious, are you? I am not a hero at all! In disbelief I took the newspaper and started reading aloud.
