A day in the life of a 17 year old and her 3 year old daughter

They always start their day by waking up, Maddie always sings to Everly a little song her grandmother used to sing to her when she was little. Then she changes Everly´s diaper and they get dressed and Everly decided she wanted to wake up her aunt, but she just crawled into bed next to her. they head downstairs and they  are met by Maddie´s little Brother Slade (4 years old) when they were halfway who told them about some beetle bugs he found in the backyard. They followed him into the backyard so he could show the bugs he caught to them. After that they let the chickens out to let them run around the yard. Maddie tried to catch a chicken because Everly wanted to hold one. 

Time for breakfast, Maddie made herself an iced coffee (but actually her mom made it for her) and a waffle for Everly by putting it in the toaster and after adding some sprinkles. For herself she made some sweet potato country chorizo, she was peeling some potatoes when her mom showed her a picture of how bad her hair looked, so her mom peeled the potatoes when she went to do her hair. After they ate they went upstairs to get changed and she did everly’s hair. It would be the first time in months, but since the lockdown has just been lifted everly would go to the store with Maddie. Then they get in the car to get some flowers and coffee. Everly picked out the flowers and helped putting them in the cart. 

Since it was very hot outside they put a little pool on the trampoline and Maddie and Slade decided to play/ wrestle a little while to cool off, Everly didn’t want to get in the pool. Then they started to by taking out some grass from the area where the flowers would be planted. Then they planted the soil and the flowers. They were determend to walk a chicken so they put a chicken walking harnas on a chicken and took it out for a walk. After the walk it was time for a bath to wash all the mud off. After the bath Everly got soaked in rash lotion because her rash was getting worse. 

While Everly plays outside Maddie studies for her GED. But she’s having trouble concentrating. Then it’s time for dinner. Maddie's stepdad is grilling salmon but she’s eating some wanton soup cause she didn’t feel like eatimg the food her family made. Everly got in trouble for throwing all of her food on the floor. Then it’s time to lie down and go to sleep.
